LOCATION 

Welcome to the Wine Barrel! Tucked away just 7 miles south of the Village of Penn Yan on the east side of Keuka Lake. While the lake is just a short distance away (about 1/4 mile), please note that the property does not have direct lake access. However, you can enjoy the view of the lake right from the end of the driveway! Positioned right in the heart of the Keuka Lake Wine Trail, we're conveniently nestled between Rooster Hill Vineyard and Weis Vineyards. Looking for more adventure? AMMENITIES & DISCLOSURES 

The Wine Barrel offers an experience that blends rustic charm with the comforts of home. Here's what to expect: Comfort Year-Round Experience the warmth in winter and coolness in the summer with our foam insulated Wine Barrel. The Mini-Split heating and cooling system will be set to 70F before your arrival, but feel free to adjust it with the remote to your liking. Relax in style and comfort during every season! 

KITCHEN & BATHROOM 

Kitchen includes a mini-fridge, sink, microwave, coffee maker. Kitchen is equip with plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses and silverware! Bathroom is ready with toiletries such as shampoo, body wash and towels. If you have a favorite soap, feel free to bring it along! WIFI & Entertainment You'll have access to WiFi during your stay, so stay connected or stream your favorite shows on the smart TV. Kick back and relax after your day of exploring the Finger Lakes Region. 

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS 

Our sleeping setup is designed for fun and comfort: King sized bed with included liens and soft pillows. A futon that converts to a bed for extra sleeping space! 

COFFEE 

Enjoy complimentary coffee during your stay. The Keurig machine is stocked with coffee pods, sugars and creamers. Grab a cup and start your day right-your first brew is on us! 

PET FRIENDLY 

We love pets and are happy to have your furry friends join you in the Wine Barrel! No additional pet fees required. Just a heads up, previous guests have brought pets, so if you have sever pet allergies this may not be the best fit. We encourage you to contact us if you have concerns- We want everyone to feel comfortable. 

PESTS & WILDLIFE 

We're nestled in nature, so it's important to note that we treat the Barrel for pests twice a year with a local pest control company twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring. Although it is treated, its not a perfect solution, some bugs may find their way. Mice may occasionally try to seek warmth in colder months, and while we place traps, we want to be upfront about the possibility. If this doesn't sound ideal for you, please reach out to us before booking to make sure this is a good match! 

FIRE PIT 

Make the most of our fire pit- it's the perfect sport for s'mores, conversations, or just stargazing. Please note that firewood is not provided, but we encourage you to pick up wood from nearby stands on your way to the Barrel. Buying from our local neighbors supports the community! 

GUEST ACCESS

Guests will receive a check in message from the host at noon on day of check in with all the information the guest will require to access the property including the passcode and WiFi information
